Creeper plants spread horizontally rather than growing vertically. Some spread by stem growth, developing roots on the stem as they produce along the ground. Still, others spread underground, sending up new plants from spreading roots and some plants start with vertical stems that drop to the ground and root.

Palms Plants

With more than 2,500 species, the palm family grows all over the world in tropical and subtropical regions including rainforests, along rivers, and on misty mountain sides. In some parts of the country, they’re grown as landscape plants. But because they can survive in very poor and dry soils, they also make excellent houseplants because they’re tolerant of less-than-ideal growing conditions. Many will put up with your occasionally forgetting to water, though they definitely don’t like to be sopping wet, a common reason they’ll die.

Plumeria varieties

Plumeria are large flowering shrubs or trees that are also commonly known as frangipanis. These striking plants originated in Mexico and Central America and now grow prolifically in tropical and subtropical climates.
It’s common to find plumerias in tropical island destinations like Hawaii, Seychelles, Mauritius, and other regions across the US, including Southern California. They are still found widely throughout South America as well, where they have been lovingly cultivated by gardeners for many hundreds of years.

Potted plants

There are a few things to consider when choosing your pot. Whether small, big, lightweight or heavy, make sure there are holes in the bottom to allow water to flow out freely. Without enough drainage, roots can drown and the plant will ultimately die.

Rare Plants

Rare plants may be scarce because the total population of the species may have just a few individuals, or be restricted to a narrow geographic range, or both. Some rare plants occur sparsely over a broad area. Other rare plants have many individuals, but these are crowded into a tiny area; in some cases, a single county or canyon. A third kind of rare plants are those with both few individuals AND a narrow geographic range: these are the very rarest plants.
